Which ePCR systems does Scribe work with?
Scribe works alongside any ePCR today, because the crew copies the finished chart into the ePCR one field at a time with a single click per field. Ambra supports direct integrations for ImageTrend, ESO, ZOLL, emsCharts, TraumaSoft, Logis and AngelTrack, and those are available on request. A direct integration is scoped for the agency and quoted separately from the subscription.
Who reviews the chart before it reaches the ePCR?
A crew member reviews every chart before it reaches the ePCR. The crew records the call on the Ambra app for iOS and Android or in the browser, Scribe transcribes the recording with each speaker labeled, and the chart comes back in a narrative view and a field-by-field PCR view that the crew member edits inline. One click checks the chart against NEMSIS 3.5 and lists every error and warning. Nothing reaches the ePCR until the crew member copies the fields across, and the agency's clinical responsibility for the chart does not change.
Can Scribe use the agency's own templates?
Scribe writes the chart into the agency's own patient care report template rather than a generic form. Ambra configures those templates during onboarding from the agency's existing forms or ePCR field list. An agency can hold more than one template, and the crew member picks the template for each run.
How are recordings stored and protected?
Ambra is HIPAA compliant and signs a business associate agreement with the agency before any patient data is exchanged. Ambra holds a SOC 2 Type I report covering security, availability and confidentiality, and shares that report under NDA. Recordings, transcripts and charts are encrypted in transit and at rest, and a recording is removed from the crew member's device once the upload finishes. Ambra does not use agency data to train AI models, and the agency's data is returned or destroyed when the agreement ends.
How long does it take to get started?
An agency starts on the copy-and-paste setup, which requires no change to the ePCR and carries no setup fee. Ambra creates the workspace, provisions accounts from the agency's roster, configures the templates, maps each chart field to the matching ePCR field, and runs a training session at kickoff. Ambra works to have the agency running within fourteen days of signing. A direct ePCR integration is scoped and scheduled separately, and crews use Scribe in the meantime.
What does Scribe cost?
Scribe is priced per completed run at $4.50 for the first 800 runs in a calendar month, and the rate per run decreases as monthly volume grows beyond 800. The agency is billed monthly on completed runs only, with no monthly minimum and no platform fee. The copy-and-paste setup costs nothing and doubles as the trial period. A direct ePCR integration is quoted separately and is payable over the first twelve months of service.
